Since the law of the Lord is perfect, there is no need to change or try to improve it. It cannot be improved. If it could be changed God would have changed it, and Jesus Christ would have never had to die on the cross for us. If it were possible, the cup would have been taken away from Jesus when He asked God to take away the cup from Him in the garden of Gethsemane when Jesus asked God to take it from Him.
